[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content Modification Announcement - Enterprise Security

[Announcements for BES Administrators]

Microsoft released five Security Bulletins earlier today.  Fixlet
content for the newly released Security Bulletins has been published and
is available in the "Enterprise Security" site

 

The MS06-049 Windows 2000 SP4 update was superseded by MS07-022 and has
been modified accordingly:

 

ID 604903: "MS06-049: Vulnerability in Windows Kernel Could Result in
Elevation of Privilege - Windows 2000 SP4 (v2, re-released 9/26/2006)
(Superseded)"

ID 604904: "MS06-049: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows 2000 SP4 (v2, re-released
9/26/2006) (Superseded)"

 

BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize
baselines that contain the affected update.  Instructions for
synchronizing baselines can be found here:
