[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content Modification Announcement - Enterprise Security

Several modifications have been made to Fixlet content in the
"Enterprise Security" site:

 

1. Microsoft revised Security Bulletin MS05-026 on April 10th to
indicate that MS02-055 is also superseded.  Fixlet content has been
modified accordingly.

 

ID 205505: "MS02-055: Unchecked Buffer in Windows Help Facility -
Windows 2000"

ID 205506: "MS02-055: Unchecked Buffer in Windows Help Facility -
Windows XP"

ID 205507: "MS02-055: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows 2000"

ID 205508: "MS02-055: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows XP"

 

2. Fixlet content for MS07-018 was updated to account for non-English
versions of Content Management Server 2002 and to standardize the
actionscript code for Content Management Server 2001.

 

ID 701801: "MS07-018: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Content Management
Server Could Allow Remote Code Execution - MCMS 2001 SP1 - Windows 2000"

ID 701803: "MS07-018: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Content Management
Server Could Allow Remote Code Execution - MCMS 2002 SP2"

ID 701805: "MS07-018: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Content Management
Server Could Allow Remote Code Execution - MCMS 2001 SP1 - Windows
XP/2003"

 

3. The relevance to detect Content Management Server 2001 has been
modified to account for Content Management Server 2002.

 

ID 30201: "UPDATE: Content Management Server 2001 Service Pack 1"

ID 30203: "UPDATE WARNING: Content Management Server 2001 Service Pack
1"

 

BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize
baselines that contain the affected updates.  Instructions for
