Two tasks have been disabled and several Fixlet messages have been modified
in the "Enterprise Security" site:

The tasks for Microsoft Security Advisory 912840 in the "Enterprise
Security" site have been disabled due to performance concerns. The relevance
expression used to detect whether or not shimgvw.dll is registered can use
significant system resources to evaluate. A "FALSE" relevance clause has
been added. Customers who wish to continue using these tasks will be
required to create a custom copy and remove the "FALSE" relevance clause.

Disabled tasks:

91284001: "Security Advisory 912840: Vulnerability in Graphics Rendering
Engine Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Un-register Shimgvw.dll"

91284001: "Security Advisory 912840: Vulnerability in Graphics Rendering
Engine Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Re-register Shimgvw.dll"

Additional relevance has been added to several Fixlet messages to correctly
target localized versions of SharePoint Team Services and Windows SharePoint
Services 2003. Before this change, the Fixlet messages allowed deployment of
the English version of the update to non-English versions of the
application, which will cause the action to report back as "Failed." This
has been corrected and localized updates will become relevant only on
computers running the matching localized version of the application.

Affected Fixlet messages:

42101: "UPDATE: Windows SharePoint Services 2003 Service Pack 1 Available"

42102: "UPDATE: Windows SharePoint Services 2003 Service Pack 2 Available"

43301: "UPDATE: SharePoint Team Services 2002 Service Pack 3 Available"

500601: "MS05-006: Vulnerability Could Allow Cross-Site Scripting and
Spoofing Attacks - Windows SharePoint Services for Windows Server 2003"

500603: "MS05-006: Vulnerability Could Allow Cross-Site Scripting and
Spoofing Attacks - SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft - Windows 2000

500604: "MS05-006: Vulnerability Could Allow Cross-Site Scripting and
Spoofing Attacks - SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft - Windows Server
2003"

Similar changes will be made in the non-English Patches for Windows sites
over the next couple days.
