IBM is pleased to announce the availability of IBM BigFix Inventory and
IBM License Metric Tool v9.2.3 application updates.

These updates improve our reporting effectiveness and flexibility and for
BigFix Inventory expand on its value to mitigate security risks.

This is the list of key features that have now been delivered:
? Unicode support which allows to manage easily international
environments and specific country language settings across computers in
different geographical locations.
Data is now encoded into UTF-8 format so that it is properly displayed and
interpreted by BigFix. It removes the need to set dedicated code-pages to
work-around previous limitations.
? Conditional email notifications and flexible date filtering on all
of the available reports.
Allow to aggregate the inventory accordingly to flexible date filtering
criteria as well as to send e-mail notifications to interested parties
when pre-configured alerting conditions are met.
? iSeries support for IBM product discovery and sub-capacity
licensing reporting. Delivered as supported limited availability feature
? BigFix Inventory option to collect MD5 and SHA256 hash key file
checksums to mitigate security risks.
Allows IT Operations and SAM departments to closely cooperate with
security teams by collecting key security attributes as part of software
discovery to properly identify security exposures.
