[BESAdmin-Announcements] IBM BigFix Patch extends support for AIX Interim Fixes

[Announcements for BES Administrators]

IBM BigFix Patch is pleased to announce that content for AIX interim fixes 
(ifixes) of Security Advisories (SA) and High Impact/Highly Pervasive 
Fixes (HIPER) are available in the Patches for AIX site. 

BigFix provides content only for interim that are released through an AIX 
vulnerability advisory or subscription notification. For customized 
interim fixes, you can use the AIX Interim Fix Wizard to create Fixlets to 
help you deploy such customized fixes. 

The interim fixes for SA and HIPER are provided on top of the existing 
Audit Fixlets that is typically used for tracking critical APARS for SA, 
HIPER, and Program Temporary Fixes (PTF) in Error. To know more about the

Highlights:
Provides a mechanism to automatically download the interim fix package 
(.epkg.Z) from Fix Central to the BigFix server.
Displays relevant fixes based on your system's current fileset version 
with the use of applicability checks.
Runs a installation preview before applying an interim fix.
Checks for conflicting interim fixes and resolves locked filesets by 
removing the previous interim fix.
New categories to better organize Fixlet content: Interim Fix - Security 
Advisory and Interim Fix - HIPER
