[BESAdmin-Announcements] *UPDATE* New release of Software Distribution

[Announcements for BES Administrators]

IBM is pleased to announce the release of Software Distribution.

New Features include:

Added ability to retrieve MSI return codes. This will only work for new 
tasks created with the new version of the dashboard.  New Manage 
Application Management Groups dashboard which allows users to create and 
deploy Application Management Groups. Application Management Groups are a 
collection of Software Distribution tasks and targets(computer groups or 
AD groups). By deploying an Application Management Group, each of its 
tasks will be deployed to each of its targets. Software deployed through 
Application Management Groups are presented as Offers to the endpoint user 
and will be displayed in the Software Distribution client side dashboard 
instead of the native offers window.

*TEM Version 8.2.1310 is required to use the new Application Management 
Group dashboard.

Actions to Take: 
Gathering of the site will automatically show the updates made.  This will 
not affect any current settings for users.
