As announced last month (
http://bigmail.bigfix.com/pipermail/besadmin-announcements/2011-March/000960.html
), IBM has updated all content in Updates for Windows Applications in
order to provide internationalization support for French, Italian, German,
Spanish, Chinese Simplified, and Japanese. This change will affect users
of the currently separate fixlets for applications in French. These
fixlets will be disabled on Friday, April 29th, 2011 in favor of the more
complete international Fixlets. The language-specific "Patches for
Windows" sites are not affected by this change.

These new international Fixlets replace the currently English only Updates
for Windows Applications Fixlets. All language support is consolidated
into one Fixlet per product to increase performance and usability. Because
French updates were supported by separate Fixlets in the past, there has
been an overlap period for French users of one month. French users have
been seeing both international versions and French versions of relevant
Fixlets in the console from Tuesday March 29th, 2011 until the French
Fixlets are retired this Friday, April 29th, 2011.

Actions to Take:
Patching customers using French language Updates for Windows Applications
fixlets in baselines will need to recreate those baselines using the
International equivalents.
