BigFix, an IBM Company, has modified content in the Power Management site.
The "Current Power Scheme" property in the "Power Consumption Analysis" has been modified to handle the rare occurrence when the name of the current power scheme cannot be detected on Windows XP and 2003 machines. In these cases, we now return an "Unknown" result for the name, rather than an error, so that the affected computer is still included in power tracking calculations.
The Power Profile Wizard, which uses similar relevance to detect the name of a computer's current power scheme, has been similarly modified. Newly generated Fixlets will contain the revised relevance.
Power Management published version: 9
BigFix administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize baselines that contain the modified content. Instructions for synchronizing baselines can be found here: http://support.bigfix.com/cgi-bin/kbdirect.pl?id=401. Please contact BigFix Technical Support if you have any questions regarding this change.
