[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content Modification Announcement - BigFix DSS Software Asset Management - Installed Application Information (Windows)

BigFix has modified an analysis in the BigFix DSS Software Asset Management
site. The Installed Application Information (Windows) analysis has been
updated to accommodate additional variability in how Microsoft products may
be installed or upgraded on computers running the Microsoft Windows OS.

DSS SAM application administrators should ensure your BigFix server has
gathered the latest version of the content site and then follow these steps
to ensure your DSS SAM inventory is up-to-date:

1) Go to the DSS SAM Control Panel and then to the Platform Datasources tab
and select and Reset Import Sequences. (This will keep all tracking data
intact while re-generating your software and hardware inventory reports with
the latest information. There is no impact to your endpoints; this is simply
a fresh import from the BigFix server database).

2) Also in the DSS SAM Control Panel, go to the Import Options tab and click
Run Now to import the latest data (or you may choose to wait for the next
scheduled import, per your import schedule).

In addition, BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and
synchronize baselines that contain the modified content.  Instructions for
