BigFix has modified four sets of content in the BES Support site.
1. The action in the following task has been updated to install the correct localized version of Internet Explorer 7 where applicable. Previous behavior was to always install the English version of Internet Explorer 7:
ID: 602 BES Web Reports: Enable PDF Reports - Part 1/2
The following Fixlet message has been created to audit for unsupported Internet Explorer 7 languages:
ID: 653 BES Web Reports: Enable PDF Reports - Part 1/2 - Language Requirement Not Met
2. The following analysis has been updated to report "N/A" on non-Windows systems for those properties which do not apply to non-Windows systems. Previous behavior was to report an undefined value:
ID: 204 BES Component Versions
3. The BES Client diagnostics tool and fixlet have been updated:
- Added a new deployment option to collect all Fixlet Site data in the BES Client Diagnostics. The resulting upload will be much larger than normal.
- Fixed a bug setting the maximum upload size which would cause it to use the default to 1MB and likely fail to upload the diagnostics.
4. The Deployment Health dashboard has been updated:
- Added Health Check 'Statistical Property Evaluation Period'
- Changed the 'Failure' status to a 'Warning' status for the Gather Status health check due to false positives.
- Changed the error count for computers listed with Gather Status errors to be a url link to the Gather Status webpage for the BES Relay.
- Added a link to the 'BES Client Setting: Client UI Minimum Analysis Interval' task from the 'Components per Baseline' Health Check.
BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize baselines that contain the modified content. Instructions for synchronizing baselines can be found here: http://support.bigfix.com/cgi-bin/kbdirect.pl?id=401. Please contact BigFix Technical Support if you have any questions regarding this change.
