[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content Modification Announcement - Enterprise Security - MS08-030 Re-release

[Announcements for BES Administrators]

BigFix has modified content in the Enterprise Security site. Microsoft
has re-released Security Bulletin MS08-030 because of issues affecting
the Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows XP Service Pack 3 update: the
update did not fully address the vulnerability. Computers patched with
the previous version of the patch should apply the new update.

The following new Fixlets have been released:

ID: 803011      MS08-030: Vulnerability in Bluetooth Stack Could Allow
Remote Code Execution - Windows XP SP2/SP3 (v2, re-released 6/19/2008)
ID: 803012      MS08-030: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows XP SP2/SP3 (v2,
re-released 6/19/2008)
ID: 803013      MS08-030: REVISED PATCH - Windows XP SP2/SP3 (v2,
re-released 6/19/2008)

The REVISED PATCH should become relevant on computers that have the
original version of the update installed. All three Fixlet messages
deploy the newest version of the update. Fixlet ID: 803011 will become
relevant on affected computers that did not have the original version of
the patch installed.

The following Fixlet messages for the original version of the update
have been superseded:

ID: 803001      MS08-030: Vulnerability in Bluetooth Stack Could Allow
Remote Code Execution - Windows XP SP2/SP3 (Superseded)
ID: 803002      MS08-030: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows XP SP2/SP3
(Superseded)


BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize
baselines that contain the modified content.  Instructions for
