[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content Modification Announcement - Enterprise Security

Several modifications have been made to Fixlet content in the
"Enterprise Security" site:

 

1. Microsoft has updated security bulletins MS07-004 and MS07-005 to
reflect that Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 is an affected product.
Fixlet content for MS07-004 and MS07-005 has been modified accordingly.

ID 700417: "MS07-004: Vulnerability in Vector Markup Language Could
Allow Remote Code Execution - IE 7.0 - Windows Server 2003"

ID 700418: "MS07-004: CORRUPT PATCH - IE 7.0 - Windows Server 2003"


                                                                        

ID 700501: "MS07-005: Vulnerability in Step-by-Step Interactive Training
Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Windows 2000/XP/2003"


ID 700502: "MS07-005: CORRUPT PATCH - Windows 2000/XP/2003"


 

2. Fixlet content has been updated to support the installation of IE7 on
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2. 

 

Affected Fixlet message:

 

ID 23114: "UPDATE: Internet Explorer 7 Available - Windows Server 2003
SP1/SP2"

            

BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize
baselines that contain the modified content.  Instructions for
synchronizing baselines can be found here:
