Microsoft published a new Security Advisory on March 14th to warn users
of newly discovered security vulnerabilities in Macromedia Flash Player
from Adobe that was redistributed in various Windows platforms and
service packs. Microsoft suggests following the guidance outlined in the
Adobe Security Bulletin, or disabling Flash Player as a workaround. For
more information, see the Security Advisory and Bulletin from Microsoft
and Adobe:

One of Microsoft's suggested workarounds is to unregister the Flash
Player ActiveX control. ActiveX and other object linking and embedding
(OLE) controls can be unregistered and reregistered using tasks in the
recently updated "SANS Top Vulnerabilities to Windows Systems" site.
Task ID 3001: "W03: Windows Libraries - Un-register OLE controls"
Task ID 3002: "W03: Windows Libraries - Register OLE controls"
Please contact your sales representative (or sales at bigfix.com) for more
information on how to obtain the "SANS Top Vulnerabilities to Windows
Systems" site. You can trial the site in either a small lab setting or
on your production deployment.
