[Annoucements for BES Administrators]

Several modifications have been made in the "Enterprise Security" site.
The original release of Fixlet ID 603816 "MS06-038: Vulnerabilities in
Microsoft Office Could Allow Remote Code Execution - Visio 2003/Project
2003/Word Viewer 2003/Excel Viewer 2003 (Network/Local Install)"
detected just one affected product - Visio 2003. The Fixlet message has
been modified to detect several other affected products.

 

In addition, a number of security updates have been superseded by a new
Microsoft Security Bulletin, an older Security Bulletin (MS06-027) was
also modified recently to correct patch replacement information. The
corresponding content in the "Enterprise Security" site have been
modified accordingly.
