[BESAdmin-Announcements] MS06-003 Office MUI Content Modification

Microsoft has updated the MS06-003 Security Bulletin documentation on
January 18th, 2006 to more clearly indicate that the Office 2003 and Office
2003 MUI patches require only Office 2003 Service Pack 1 to be installed.
Office 2003 Service Pack 2 is recommended but not required.

 

BigFix has updated the MS06-003 Office MUI Fixlet message relevance to
require Office 2003 SP1 instead of Office 2003 SP2. Computers with Office
2003 MUI SP1 installed will now report relevant for these Fixlet messages.
Note that the MS06-003 Office 2003 content was not modified as the existing
content already correctly detects Office 2003 SP1.
