Fixlet Description: Microsoft no longer provides extended security update support for Windows 7 Gold. Support for Windows 7 Gold ended on April 9, 2013. This product has reached the end of its lifecycle and Microsoft is no longer providing security updates for them. IBM Endpoint Manager will continue to provide content for security patches released prior to the extended support expiration date, but will not be able to provide content for newly discovered vulnerabilities. Microsoft recommends migrating this system to supported versions to prevent potential exposure to vulnerabilities. You can use the appropriate "UPDATE: Windows 7 Service Pack X Available" Fixlet message to update your Windows 7 computers to a supported version. Customers who require additional support for Windows 7 Gold should contact Microsoft for custom support options. See the links below for more information.
