Fixlet Description: Microsoft has released a service pack for Windows 2000. The Win2000 SP4 fixes a variety of bugs, contains updated drivers, and patches most of the Windows 2000 security holes reported to date. Microsoft recommends that all Windows 2000 users download and install this service pack. 

Important Note: Microsoft stopped offering the redistributable version of Windows 2000 SP4 in January 2009. As such, this Fixlet deploys the Express version, a small executable which will download needed files directly from Microsoft and not BES Relays. As this may cause unwanted network traffic, please use caution when deploying this Fixlet.

Important Note: BigFix STRONGLY recommends that each computer be rebooted after this service pack is applied.

Important Note: Microsoft has indicated that applying Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 on a system with the DFS Client turned off can lead to the stop error message "Stop 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0xF747AD16, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)" on a blue screen. See Microsoft KB Article 824288 for more information.
