Fixlet Description: Microsoft has released a workaround that resolves known issues in a patch deployed for Microsoft Security Bulletin MS07-069. On a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 crashes when you try to a visit a Web site. This workaround is for the Known Issues identified in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 946627 and sets the registry key specified in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 942367. This is functionally identical to the package provided by Microsoft. 

Important Note: Microsoft states this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows XP service pack that contains this hotfix.
