<html><body>The IBM BigFix Software Distribution team is pleased to pre announce the release of Software Distribution updates coming next week. Reason for Update The main purpose of this release is in BigFix platform version 9.1 and above, the Manage Software Distribution dashboard is switching from using the upload manager tool to using the BigFix platform for file uploads in order to address potential security vulnerabilities. However, users are now required to stay on the dashboard until the files are uploaded. Users who uses the upload manager tool outside of the dashboard will need to update to the latest version. Additional Changes<ul type="disc"><li>Fixed bug where certain packages cannot be exported from the dashboard.

<li>Fixed bug where the dashboard created Fixlets will not record a proper timestamp. 

<li>Fixed bug with the Client Dashboard for Software Offers where content is not translated on non-English systems.

<li>Fixed bug with Upload Maintenance Service for Linux BigFix deployments where it cannot connect to the database.

<li>For the Analysis Software Distribution Deployment Results, number of lines returned have been increased from 200 to 1000.
