[Announcements for BES Administrators]

The BigFix team is pleased to announce an update to Software Distribution
and the Self-Service Application.



***SSA Configuration: Tab Visibility Parameter***A new configuration
setting is now available for SSA to manage tab visibility. When enabled,
tabs containing no active data (e.g., *Offering*, *Actions Requests*) are
hidden from the user interface rather than displaying empty lists.


***Fixed Defect Articles*:**
- KB0131495 - SSA process makes unable to automatic restart macOS Tahoe
- KB0131563 - Add an alert error message more specific to detect malformed
fixlets
- KB0130865 - DOC: document prerequisites to use SWD WebUI site
- KB0131676 - SSA not updating icon within SSA UI
- KB0130571 - Self-Service Application 3.4.2 rendering issue for "Messages"
tab

***Fixed vulnerabilities***
HCL BigFix Software Distribution console versions 126 and earlier are
affected by the following security vulnerabilities:
  CVE-2026-41672, CVE-2026-41673, CVE-2026-41674, CVE-2026-41675  on
xmldom.


***Actions to Take to upgrade SSA***

- Gathering of the site will automatically show the new updates.

- Users of the BigFix Self Service Application will need to update this
component to version 3.4.4 using the following fixlets from Software
Distribution site:

         -- Fixlet 302 to upgrade SSA for Windows.

         -- Fixlet 304 to upgrade SSA for Mac OS.

 *Note*: The minimum supported version is macOS Monterey 12.0
