- The *Continuous Discovery Processing* enhancements
- Computer health attributes are refreshed for the processed computer
- Catalog updates and customizations are processed by continuous
discovery. Catalog based discovery step is moved from the standard import
to background process run after the import.
- Data partitioning for Microsoft SQL Server to optimize software
reports response time when historical data grows
- Enabled by default for fresh BigFix Inventory server installation
- For the BigFix Inventory server upgraded to v11.0.8 follow specific
procedure to enable it when convenient. The procedure is linked to the
upgrade Fixlet.
- Usability and serviceability enhancements
- Oracle Measurements - added log prefixes to filter and isolate
issues, removed redundant logs, removed confusing INCOMPLETE prefix from
report name
- VM Managers and VM Managers Tool Rest API extended to support
configuration for all VM Manager Tools (addressed central tool
limitation).
- Catalog 20260615 is included in the server package
- AI tools discovery and new AI attributes feed are a source for AI
Management dashboard. This content will be updated periodically. Refer to
the catalog 20260615 release notes for content details.
- Note: Bundling information was adjusted, resulting in a version
update to 20260626
- FIPS 140-3 support

*Actions needed: *
To upgrade the *BigFix Inventory *server to application update 11.0.8.0,
run the *Upgrade to the latest version of BigFix Inventory* Fixlet from the
BigFix console and the *BigFix Inventory *site.
Note: *BigFix servers running version 10.x must trust their own SSL
certificate to correctly cache Inventory catalog files*. For details refer
to the release notes.
*Important! *It is recommended to restart the BigFix Inventory Server after
successful database schema upgrade to ensure proper initialization of
internal information about current database schema.
