[BESAdmin-Announcements] BigFix Patch now supports Patches for Amazon Linux 2 on Graviton or aarch64.

BigFix Patch is pleased to announce that it has extended support to include Amazon Linux 2 on Graviton processor (aarch64).



The new site called ‘Patchesfor Amazon Linux 2 Graviton’ uses yum, which is Amazon’s default package manager and contains content from the following channels for Amazon Linux 2 Graviton systems:

  *   Amazon Linux OS
  *   Amazon Linux OS Extras



Actions to Take

Amazon Linux 2 Graviton requires BigFix Client version 10.0 Patch 8 (10.0.8.37).



Subscribe to the ‘Patches for Amazon Linux 2 Graviton’ site from the License Overview Dashboard. If the site is not showing in the License Overview dashboard, update your license from the dashboard by clicking ‘Check for license update’, then run the BigFix Administration Tool.



Patches for Amazon Linux 2 Graviton uses CentOS R2 Download Plugin which is available in the Manage Download Plugins dashboard of the Patching Support site.
