[BESAdmin-Announcements] Announcing End of Support of BigFix Platform version 9.5.x - effective June 30th, 2024

BigFix just announced its newest Platform release, version 11.0, that brings to you the latest and greatest in terms of BigFix capabilities and advanced security!

At the same time, BigFix team is announcing that, effective June 30th, 2024, HCL will end service for BigFix Platform version 9.5.x. On this date, all updates to platform components will cease, including security patches.
This includes all BigFix Platform components (including Root Server, Relay, Client, Console, Web Reports) at version 9.5.x.

The BigFix team encourages customers to upgrade to the latest BigFix Platform releases 10.0 or 11.0, which allows access to a wide array of products and features such as:

. BigFix Workspace: a unified management and security experience for all your client devices, from desktop to laptop to tablet to mobile

. BigFix CyberFOCUS: visibility and effective prioritization of vulnerability remediation
· API based laptop management for automated zero touch provisioning
· Multi-cloud management for endpoints in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
· Improved user experience
· Increased performance
· The latest security updates
· And more….

All customers owning valid BigFix licenses and current S&S are entitled, under the same part numbers, to BigFix Platform version 10.0 and version 11.0.

For operating systems that are included in ESU patch packages, HCL commits to providing agent support until 6 months after the end of ESU from the vendor.

When end of support is effective, HCL will consider providing paid extended support package to allow time for customers to upgrade if necessary. In addition, Professional Services offering is available today to help upgrade! If you need such assistance, please contact your HCL reference or open a suppor ticket.
