[Announcements for BES Administrators]

BigFix OS Deployment and Bare Metal Imaging site has been updated.


**Reasons for Update:**
New OSD Bare Metal Server version 311.11 is available.

New features:
Decentralized Image Library: You can now upload an OS image to a different repository than the BigFix Root server. Now the OSD can be configured to upload / download OS images directly from this newly defined repository, reducing network traffic of large OS images to / from the BigFix Root server. This will allow you to place the BigFix Root server on a Cloud environment and leave the OS Image repository close to the targets at the customer site, saving network bandwidth, time, and effort.


New Operating Systems support:
- Added support to deploy SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP3
- Added support to deploy SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP4
- Added support to deploy Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.5
- Added support to deploy Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6
- Added support to deploy Windows on Nutanix virtualization environment

Fixed issues in new site:
- KB0098844: Colum sorting Driver Library (first tab) doesn't work after search​
- KB0099840: Windows capture task does not complete successfully​
- KB0099256: Cannot display the Windows partition letter on the create BM profile wizard​
- KB0098820: Crash on DL deleting all models bound to a driver​
- KB0098642: Download Image: Failure error is not translated​
- KB0098285: Failed step in successful in place upgrade action​
- KB0097508: Win Reimage Template crashes if the MDT is deleted​
- KB0096316: Cannot deploy Win 10 21h1 with WinPE 2004 via network media​
- KB0096244: Wrong setup image partitioning in reimage​
- KB0095882: Upload MDT Bundle: green icon button is confusing​
- KB0100680: Driver library crashes for invalid result from analysis 352​


Note:
“Fixlet 135 - Deploy MDT 2013” is now removed from OSD Site
