The IBM BigFix team is pleased to announce the next release of the BigFix
Query application for the IBM BigFix WebUI.

The BigFix Query application provides real-time endpoint inspection to
Lifecycle and Compliance customers. Security analysts, IT Analysts and
Master operators can quickly and easily gather endpoint information by
selecting pre-defined queries provided by IBM, creating ad-hoc queries as
well as creating and sharing their own queries.

This latest release introduces some important new features which improve
usability by allowing administrators to easily manage queries and by
allowing operators to easily use authorized queries with very minimal
knowledge of BigFix.

Multiple roles
Support for administrator and operator Query roles using permissions model
for custom content.

Easy to use
Eliminates the need for operators to know ?Relevance? by no longer
displaying relevance, only the query description is displayed and values
are solicited for query parameters.

Improved control
Authorize operators to access specific queries.

Better organization
Queries can be associated with multiple user-defined categories.

Improved targeting
Expanded reach of query by targeting dynamic groups of endpoints.

Faster ROI
Additional pre-defined queries for Security and IT delivered by IBM.
