[Announcements for BES Administrators]

Content in the Software Distribution site has been modified.


Reason for Update: 
Content has been updated for the BigFix 9.2 Patch 6 release.
Fixed bug where certain folders may fail to upload to the dashboard. 
Fixed bug where certain Fixlets cannot be edited through the dashboard. 
Fixed bug where Fixlets referencing multiple compressed folders will not 
properly extract all folders. 
Fixed bug where Fixlets will fail if it contains a compressed folder with 
certain characters. 
Fixed bug where certain packages cannot be exported.
Fixed bug with the Upload Maintenance Service where it cannot execute on 
Windows 2003 systems.
Fixed bug with the Client Dashboard for Software Offers where the offer 
tab does not fully expand in the BES Client UI window. 


Actions to Take: 
Users will need to update the Upload Maintenance Service BES Servers.
Fixlet 6: IBM BigFix Server: Upgrade IBM BigFix Upload Maintenance Service

Users of the Client Dashboard for Software Offers will need to update the 
dashboard component.
Fixlet 16: Update Client Dashboard for Software Offers and Generate a PIN 
for Self Service Portal Registration (Windows, Mac)
