Software scan and file scan results are corrupted when the software item 
is installed in a directory whose name or path contains Japanese 
characters.
Software scan and file scan results are correct and can be processed by 
Software Use Analysis.

Installing the patch 
To install a new scanner or upgrade the existing one, log in to the 
Endpoint Manager console, and click Sites > External Sites > IBM Endpoint 
Manager for Software Use Analysis v9 > Install Scanner.
