IBM is pleased to announce the release of  OS Deployment and Bare Metal 
Imaging 3.1. 

This release has the following features:

Support for deployment of Windows 8
MDT 2012 Update 1 Support
Support for Windows 8/Server 2012 Bare Metal Servers
Improved action encryption using IBM Endpoint Manager platform version 9.0 
features
Support for multiple MDT Bundles
Driver management enhancements
Support for multiple partitions

Published site version: 
OS Deployment and Bare Metal Imaging, version 15. 

Actions to Take: 
This release is an update of the existing site. A new 3.1 MDT Bundle may 
be created to take advantage of MDT 2012 and Windows ADK. This can be 
downloaded using Fixlet 46 in the site. No immediate actions are required 
and the current product will continue to function normally. Some features 
and UI may change slightly. As a 3.1 MDT Bundle is imported, bare metal 
servers will need to be updated to TPMfOSD 7.1.1 Fixpack 12. Tivoli 
Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment can be downloaded from FixCentral. 
Version 7.1.1.11-200.39 and later is compatible with this version of the 
site.
