The Tivoli Endpoint Manager for Software Usage Analysis team is pleased to announce the release of software catalog update for SUA 1.x.
The major changes included in this update are:

Catalog 30
The catalogs for both SUA 1.x and SUA 2.x include separated editions for specific Adobe and Microsoft software suites:
Adobe Creative Suite 6
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
Microsoft SQL Server 2012
Microsoft Visual Studio
Catalog 29
The SUA 1.x catalog included updates to clear up ambiguities in some Adobe and Microsoft titles.

The SUA 1 catalog is distributed via a fixlet (number 21 in theTivoli Endpoint Manager for Software Usage Analysis site). This fixlet will download the latest version of Software Catalog for Software Use Analysis. The catalog will be placed in SUA 1 installation directory under "rails\db\sua_catalog" folder (default: "C:\Programs Files\BigFix Enterprise\DSS\rails\db\sua_catalog").

1. Log into your TEM SUA 1 Server as the user or service account that you used to install the TEM SUA 1 services.

2. Extract the catalog package in the .zip file into current directory.

3. From your new rails\db\sua_catalog directory, double-click on install.bat . This will install the latest TEM SUA Software Catalog, maintaining any customizations you may have made to your pre-existing catalog.

4. After the Software Catalog has been upgraded, the new catalog will be in effect the next time your inventory is imported into TEM SUA.

For complete guide please refer to SUA 1 catalog update documentation.

Please see the catalog change log for the full list of changes.

Best regards,

Software Use Analysis Software Catalog Team.
