[BESAdmin-Announcements] BigFix Platform 8.2 Patch Now Available

IBM is pleased to announce the availability of version 8.2.1079 of the
Tivoli Endpoint Manager Platform.

Version 8.2.1079 is an update to the initial 8.2 release and includes a fix
for an issue which could cause the root server and relays to crash if
dynamic bandwidth throttling is enabled.

The initial 8.2 release introduced integration with AD/LDAP directory
services for Console user provisioning as well as additional language and
platform support. Further details are available in the full technical
change list.

This upgrade is available to all IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager customers at
no charge.  As with all Tivoli Endpoint Manager platform upgrades, you can
upgrade any component manually or by using Fixlet messages available in the
BES Support Fixlet site.

customers receive the highest level of support possible, please follow the
upgrade recommendations in the Tivoli Endpoint Manager Upgrade Best
