**NEW Release**

IBM is pleased to announce the general availability of endpoint based 
dependency resolution content for Patches for SUSE Linux Enterprise on 
System Z. 

Published Site Versions:

Patches for SLE 10 System Z (version 26)
Patches for SLE 11 System Z (version 31)

Highlights include:
- Endpoint dependency resolution for SLE 10 System Z and SLE 11 System Z 
patches.  All dependency calculations take place on the targeted system.
- Simplified configuration options make deploying patches quick and easy.
- More granular control over preference list settings: Preference lists 
reside on the endpoint, allowing administrators complete control over the 
configuration options for each system.

Reason for Change:
This update implements endpoint dependency resolution for SLE 10 System Z 
and SLE 11 System Z systems.


Actions to Take:

Lifecycle Management, Security and Compliance and Patch Management
customers who wish to use the new content should use the License Overview
dashboard to enable the following sites:
      - Patches for SLE 10 System Z 
      - Patches for SLE 11 System Z
