IBM is pleased to announce the availability of version 8.1.608 of the
BigFix Platform!

Version 8.1.608 is an update to the initial 8.1 release and includes
several bug fixes and updates to various BigFix platform components and
installers.  Further details are available in the full technical change

on the BigFix support site.

The initial 8.1 release introduced native inspection for AD computer and
user groups on the local system, the ability to sort by multiple columns in
Web Reports,
new agent support on Debian and Ubuntu, and new relay support on AIX.

The upgrade is available to all IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager customers at no
charge. IBM recommends upgrading whenever possible to take advantage of the
new features, optimizations, and bug fixes.  As with all Tivoli Endpoint
Manager platform upgrades, you can upgrade any component manually or by
using Fixlet messages available on the BES Support Fixlet site.
