[BESAdmin-Announcements] Tivoli Endpoint Manager Platform 8.2 Patch 2 Now Available

IBM is pleased to announce the availability of version 8.2.1093 of the
Tivoli Endpoint Manager Platform.

Version 8.2.1093 fixes several client, console and server/relay issues
which affected previous 8.2 releases.  Further details are available in the
full technical changelist.

The initial 8.2 release introduced integration with AD/LDAP directory
services for Console user provisioning as well as additional language and
platform support.  This upgrade is available to all IBM Tivoli Endpoint
Manager customers at no charge.  As with all Tivoli Endpoint Manager
platform upgrades, you can upgrade any component manually or by using
Fixlet messages available in the BES Support Fixlet site.

Important Note: In an effort to stagger the release process to ensure that
customers receive the highest level of support possible, please follow the
upgrade recommendations in the Tivoli Endpoint Manager Upgrade Best
Practices guide.  Subscribe to the RSS feed at the bottom of the page to
receive updates on changes to the upgrade recommendations, which are based
on deployment size.   Recommendations will also be posted in the
description area of the Server upgrade Fixlets.
