[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content updates in DISA STIG and SCM Reporting sites; plus: support for DISA STIGs for CentOS

Dear BESAdmin Community,

The following updates have been applied to SCM sites:

----AFFECTED SITES----
      SCM Reporting

----CHANGES----
      Several issues have been resolved and enhancements have been applied
      in the SCAP tools to handle additional XCCDF and OVAL constructs (SCM
      Reporting, ref 38305)
      An issue that caused some portions of the SCM Web Reports to be cut
      off when using IE 8 and Web Reports 8.x. has been resolved (SCM
      Reporting, ref 40826)
      Several minor issues that affected the Security and Compliance
      Analytics installation process have been resolved (ref 41469, 41564,
      41566)

      SCM Checklist DISA STIG on RHEL 5

----CHANGES----
      The SCM Checklist DISA STIG on RHEL 5 content site is now supported
      on CentOS release 5 (ref 42269)

      SCM Checklist DISA STIG on AIX 5.3

----CHANGES----
      GEN000460 in RHEL sites - the remediation action has been removed
      (ref 42270)
      GEN004780 remediation no longer fails if ftpusers file does not
      preexist (ref 41946)
      GEN001180 resolved an issue in which INCLUDEFILES parameterization
      did not function (ref 42060)
      GEN001200 resolved an issue in which EXCLUDEFILES parameterization
      did not function (ref 42060)
      Site relevance and digest relevance were redundant and have been
      reconciled for all sites (ref 42268)



----ACTIONS TO TAKE----
All customers that currently license the Tivoli Endpoint Manager for
Security and Compliance product, the BigFix SCMv3 solution module, the
BigFix SCVM solution pack, or the BigFix SLM+SCVM solution bundle may
gather these content updates. Administrators are encouraged to verify open
actions as necessary. If you are using custom sites based on the affected
content, you will need to manually update the content in those sites with
the corresponding content from the external sites.
