[Announcements for BES Administrators]

BigFix has modified an analysis in the BES Inventory & License site. A
total of three properties have been removed from the analysis #318
"Application Information (Mac OS X)". 

The first two properties have been removed due to potentially unsafe
calls to Apple's Carbon API that could cause the client to crash
whenever a user logged out of the Mac OS graphical user interface. The
third property used an inspector that has been deprecated.

These properties use unsafe calls to the Carbon API:

Number of Running Non-Carbon Processes - Mac OS X 
Running Processes - Mac OS X 
 
This property uses an deprecated inspector:

Default Web Browser - Mac OS X 


BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize
baselines that contain the modified content.  Instructions for
synchronizing baselines can be found here:
