We¹re pleased to announce the general availability of DSS SAM 1.0.2!
Currently-licensed DSS SAM customers should now download the update and all
associated product documentation using the same URL you received from BigFix
Licensing when you purchased the product.

Changes in DSS SAM 1.0.2 include:
* Thousands of updates to the Software Catalog
* Critical bug fixes

All deployments of DSS SAM 1.0 and 1.0.1 are encouraged to upgrade to 1.0.2
to take full advantage of the latest software identification capabilities of
the product.

The DSS SAM version 1.0.2 installer contains a full installation of the web
application and database component of the product ‹ an installation of a
previous version of DSS SAM is not a pre-requisite. However, if a previous
version of DSS SAM is already installed in your environment, you may upgrade
to version 1.0.2 without uninstalling the previous version. To do this,
download DSS SAM 1.0.2 and run the installer on the computer where DSS SAM
is currently running, ensuring that the DSS SAM database server is running
and accessible. The installer will automatically detect DSS SAM in your
environment and replace it with version 1.0.2 in the same environment
without affecting your application data or configurations. Upon successful
installation, log in to the DSS SAM web application and confirm the build
number in the lower right corner ­ it should read ³Build 23556² for DSS SAM
1.0.2. This validates that the correct build is installed and you¹re
connected to the database.
