We are pleased to announce the release of a new set of features for
BigFix Power Management.

The newly released features include:

 

- The ability to save work in applications prior to shut down or restart

 

- An "Override Power Assumptions" Wizard that enables administrators to
apply cost and power consumption overrides. These overrides will be
reflected in the dashboard calculations.  

 

- A "Power Assumptions Override" Analysis to view any custom power
assumptions that have been applied

 

- The ability to save dashboard inputs for cost of power, consumption,
etc between console sessions 

 

- The ability to filter laptops, desktops, and/or servers from power
consumption calculations

 

- An option to display carbon emissions equivalents in acres of trees
planted or cars off the road

 

- The ability to select between daily, monthly, and yearly views in the
Power Consumption section of dashboard

 

- The ability to override the number of work days per month or work days
per year

 

Some additional exciting news is that BigFix Power Management has been
certified by major energy utilities so customers with BigFix Power
Management may be eligible for rebates as high as $15 per computer.
