[BESAdmin-Announcements] New Version of Solaris Download Cacher Tool Available

[Announcements for BES Administrators]

A new version of the BigFix Solaris Download Cacher Tool has been
published.  This version contains a fix for an authentication issue
related to recent changes in Sun's website structure.  The functionality
remains basically the same.

 

 

The download cacher tool is also available for download from the
following URL on the BigFix Support site:

http://support.bigfix.com/cgi-bin/kbdirect.pl?id=3D371 

 

In addition, the Task "Run Solaris Download Cacher Tool - Windows" (Task
ID #5 in both the Patches for Solaris and Solaris Maintenance sites) has
been updated to deploy the new version of the tool.
