[Announcements for BES Administrators]

BigFix has modified several Fixlet messages in the BES Support site.

1. BigFix can now upgrade BES clients to 7.0 that have been installed
using the 6.0 MSI Installer. The following Fixlet message has been
modified:

ID: 496	Updated BES Client Now Available! (Version 7.0.1) - Upgrade Now
Available for MSI-Installed BES Clients


2. BES Clients that have been hidden from the Add/Remove Programs list
using Fixlet message 251 will become relevant for the following BES 7.0
Client upgrade Fixlet messages:

ID: 467	Updated BES Client Now Available! (Version 7.0.1) -
WinNT/2000/2003/XP/Vista - BES < 7.0
ID: 468	Updated BES Client Now Available! (Version 7.0.1) - Win98/ME -
BES < 7.0
ID: 480	Updated BES Client Now Available! (Version 7.0.1) -
WinNT/2000/2003/XP/Vista (Logging Service Installed)


3: BigFix has modified the titles for two Fixlet messages that check for
BES traffic blocked by Windows Firewall:

ID: 288	Windows Firewall is Blocking BES Traffic - BES Client
ID: 342	Windows Firewall is Blocking BES Traffic - BES Relay/Server


BES administrators are encouraged to verify open actions and synchronize
baselines that contain the modified content.  Instructions for
synchronizing baselines can be found here:
