[BESAdmin-Announcements] MS06-055 Out of Band Release and Content Modifications

Microsoft released Security Bulletin MS06-055 out of band today to
address the Vector Markup Language (VML) vulnerability in Internet
Explorer (CVE-2006-4868) previously announced in Microsoft Security
Advisory 925568. Security Bulletin MS06-049 was also re-released today
to address an issue caused by the original version of the security
update. Fixlet messages have been published to the "Enterprise Security"
Fixlet site that deploys the new and re-released updates. Fore more

Several Fixlet messages have been superseded by the new updates.

Partially Superseded by MS06-055: 402817, 402818

 

In addition, the Fixlet message relevance for HotFix 925308 (ID
92530801, 92530802) has been modified to ensure they do not become
relevant on computers that have the re-released MS06-049 update
installed.

 

BES Administrators are encouraged to verify any open actions that
