[BESAdmin-Announcements] Content Modification Announcement - Enterprise Security

[Annoucements for BES Administrators]

Modifications have been made to two Fixlet messages in the "Enterprise
Security" site. The original version of the Fixlet messages can become
relevant on machines with Visual Studio .NET 2002/2003 Service Pack 1
installed, which would cause the action to report back "Failed" since
the patch is already included in the service pack. Additional relevance
has been added to correct this issue.

 

Affected Fixlet messages:

 

402815: MS04-028: Buffer Overrun in JPEG Processing (GDI+) Could Allow
Code Execution - Visual Studio .NET 2002

402816: MS04-028: Buffer Overrun in JPEG Processing (GDI+) Could Allow
Code Execution - Visual Studio .NET 2003

 

BES Administrators are encouraged to verify all open actions involving
these updates. Please contact BigFix Technical Support if you have any
