[Announcements for BES Administrators]

Fixlet relevance for the MS06-062 Office 2003 update has been modified
to address an issue in the file version detection logic.  The initial
version of the Fixlet messages can become relevant on machines that have
a version of "IETAG.DLL" that is distributed by older versions of Office
(e.g. Office XP).  Affected computers would report back as "Failed" for
the action even if the security update was successfully applied.  The
file check relevance has been modified to detect only outdated Office
2003 versions of "IETAG.DLL".

606210  MS06-062: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office Could Allow Remote
Code Execution - Office 2003 (Administrative Install)

 

BES Administrators are encouraged to verify open actions that deploy
affected updates.
