[Annoucements for BES Administrators]

Fixlet messages for MS99-030 have been updated in the "Enterprise
Security" site to correctly identify operating systems not supported by
the update. Previously, computers running Windows Server 2003 that have
been detected to have vulnerable Office 95 or Office 97 files will
report relevant for the regular Fixlet message and will report back
"Failed" on deployed actions. These computers will now report relevant
for the "No Update Available" Fixlet message instead.

9903001: "MS99-030: Office 95 ODBC Vulnerabilities (Windows 9x/NT)"

9903002: "MS99-030: Office 95 ODBC Vulnerabilities (No Update
Available)"

9903003: "MS99-030: Office 97 ODBC Vulnerabilities (Windows 9x/NT)"

9903004: "MS99-030: Office 97 ODBC Vulnerabilities (No Update
Available)"

 

BES Administrators are encouraged to verify any open actions involving
these updates.
